Adding an active debit or credit card to your MyTradesShop account allows you to purchase job leads instantly and keep your lead-matching status active. Managing your saved payment options is simple and fully self-service through your profile dashboard.
Step-by-Step: Adding a Payment Card
- Log In: Sign in to your account and navigate to the My Billing section from your account dashboard.
- Open Payment Settings: Click on the Payment Methods link.
- Enter Card Credentials: We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express). Enter the required card details:
- Full name as printed on the card.
- 16-digit card number.
- Expiration date (MM/YY).
- 3-digit CVV/CVC security code on the back.
- Verify Billing Address: Enter your postcode and select your exact registered billing address from the drop-down menu. Important: This address must match the exact billing address on file with your bank or card issuer.
- Save Card: Confirm the information and submit to complete registration.
Adding Multiple Cards & Setting Your Primary Method
You can store more than one payment card on your profile for convenience. From the Payment Methods page, you can review all saved options and add new cards at any time.
If you keep multiple cards on file, designate your preferred card as the 'Main Card'. Our automated checkout system will always attempt to charge your primary card first when you purchase leads or top up credits.
Troubleshooting Card Registration Issues
If our system prevents you from adding a new card, perform these quick checks before reaching out to support:
- Verify Cardholder Name: Ensure the name matches the account holder details exactly.
- Check Card Compatibility: Confirm that your card issuer is supported (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express).
- Match Billing Address: Double-check that your registered account address matches your official bank statement address.
- Re-check Numbers: Verify that the 16-digit card number, expiration date, and CVV code contain no typos.
- Contact Your Bank: Issuing banks occasionally block online card registration attempts until the cardholder calls to verify the merchant authorization.
